Thyagaraja Aradhana 2024
Thyagaraja Aradhana is an annual music festival dedicated to the renowned South Indian classical composer Saint Thyagaraja. Saint Thyagaraja was one of the Trinities of Carnatic music, along with Muthuswami Dikshitar and Syama Sastri. He lived during the 18th century and is celebrated for his numerous compositions in praise of Lord Rama. Jaxraaga celebrates this event with soulful and enriching music featuring performances by renowned artists, senior children and a collective rendition of Thyagaraja's Pancharatna Kritis.
Trichur Brothers Concert
Presenting the world renowned Trichur Brothers in Jacksonville.
Sri Srikrishna & Sri Ramkumar will be live in concert accompanied by Sri Visvesh Chandrasekar (violin) & Trichur Sri Mohan (Mridangam).
Admission is FREE for members and $30 for non-members.
Boxed dinner will be available after the event.
If you are not a member, please reserve your seat by paying $30 per person.
20+ Years Anniversary Celebration
We celebrate our 20+ years Anniversary with an exciting all day event. It is a very proud moment for all of us who have supported JaxRaaga along the way from participants, gurus, childrens, parents, members, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who showed up for our programs virtually or in person. We could not have done this without you and our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of this family and journey.
We would like to celebrate this with an all day Free event with great programs. Everyone along with their family and friends are welcome to attend the event and make it memorable and successful.
Events will include individual and group performances by our Jacksonville artists as well as artists from neighboring cities who have supported JaxRaaga through the years. We will also have special performances by some of our Young Seniors who started their musical journey at JaxRaaga.
Lunch: Free Lunch/Prasadam will be provided
Thyagaraja Day for Children 2023
Children under 18 will display their talent and will perform Thyagaraja Kritis in Vocal and Instrumental formats.
Thyagaraja Aradhana 2023
Our Annual Thyagaraja Aradhana 2023 will be held at the Maa Kitchen Banquet Hall. Program will start at 10am sharp with the Group rendition of Pancharatna Kriti's
Free Lunch (Prasadam) will be served at noon
Afternoon session will start at 1pm and includes Mini Concerts, Solo and Group performances by our local talents.
Please come with family and friends and enjoy the live event. Attendance is open to members and non-members.
Virtual Thyagaraja Day 2022

The program is intended to be educational for aspiring learners (kids and adults) to appreciate and enjoy Carnatic music. You will learn about concert patterns, how it evolved, stage dynamics, etc. This is part 2 of a series.
There will also be a Question-and-Answer session. This is an excellent opportunity to get real face time with some renowned musicians , learn and ask questions.

Our Thyagaraja Aradhana 2021 celebrations continue for the second say. Join us from the comfort of your home for a presentation by our local kids.

We will kick off the event with traditional pancharatna kritis, followed by curated individual performances by our talented local artistes.
Thyagaraja Aradhana 2020 - CANCELLED due to COVID-19
Our annual event in honor of the saint Shri Thyagaraja. We will start off with a group recital of Pancharatna Kritis followed by individual and group performances. We will also be hosting a Carnatic Bee conducted by our Youth Wing. The Carnatic Bee is open to all participants up to the age of 18 and is free for all members and their families. Yuva Kalotsava: Carnatic for Kids Competition
Jaxraaga will be organizing Jacksonville’s first Carnatic for Kids Competition. The contest is open for all kids between the ages of 5 and 18 years. Judges will be invited from outside the city to facilitate neutrality. The competition will be held in 3 categories, based on the child’s skill level. Please email us with any questions.
